OUR POLICIES – Skin Tide
Booking Policy
To secure your appointment, a booking fee of $50–$100 (depending on the service) is required. This fee is deducted from your total treatment cost on the day of your appointment.

An email reminder will be sent one week prior.

A confirmation SMS will be sent 72 hours before your appointment.

Please confirm by replying “Yes” to the SMS.

⚠️ Instagram and Facebook messages are not monitored regularly and are not recommended for bookings.
We aim to respond to all inquiries within 24 hours. Messages sent outside business hours may receive a delayed reply.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
When you book an appointment at Skin Tide, that time is reserved just for you. Last-minute cancellations and no-shows limit access for others.
Cancellation Notice & Fees

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule.

Cancellations within 24 hours: Your booking fee will be forfeited.

Cancellations within 12 hours or failure to attend: A 50% fee of the booked service is charged.

If no booking fee was paid, the late cancellation fee must be paid before rebooking.

No refunds are provided for forfeited fees.
Important Notes

Cancellations must be made via call or text to 0447 488 177.

Facebook/Instagram messages are not accepted for cancellations.

For Monday appointments or bookings after a public holiday, a voicemail or SMS is acceptable provided it’s sent 24+ hours in advance.

Failure to attend two appointments without notice may result in permanent booking restrictions.
While we understand that emergencies can happen, these policies ensure a fair and efficient schedule for all clients.

Refusal to Treat Policy
Skin Tide is fully licensed to provide cosmetic injectable treatments. To maintain legal, ethical, and safety standards, we reserve the right to refuse treatment in the following situations:
Reasons for Refusal

Disruptive Behaviour: Any action posing a risk to the patient or provider.

Legal Non-Compliance: Treatments not permitted by law or regulatory authorities.

Safety Concerns: If a treatment may pose undue risk based on medical indicators.
Additional Considerations

Is the treatment genuinely desired?
If coercion is suspected, more information will be requested. -
Is the motivation healthy and realistic?
Clients with signs of body image disorders or unrealistic goals may not be suitable candidates. -
Is the treatment appropriate?
If a requested treatment is not ideal, we will recommend more suitable alternatives. -
Medical conditions or contraindications
Certain conditions may affect safety or results. These will be discussed during consultation.

Refund Policy
Please choose services and products carefully, as refunds are not offered for change of mind.
Treatments

Cosmetic procedures are not an exact science; results vary by individual.

Once treatment is administered, refunds cannot be issued, even if results differ from expectations.

Refunds are not provided for side effects or adverse reactions.
Retail Products

Refunds will be provided where required under Australian Consumer Law.

Refunds, exchanges, or credits will not be given for:

Opened or used products
